Reclaim a Balanced Mind, Body & Soul.
regulate your nervous system
rediscover your baseline
redefine your path
For anyone struggling with burn out, waking up in a body that feels like it’s being hunted for sport, and wondering why you incarnated in this crazy timeline…
You weren’t meant to hold all of this.
It’s time to lay it down, and forge a new path.
This work is a science-backed, heart-led synthesis of my training in psychology, somatics, and contemplative traditions, designed to help you reconnect with yourself, build a more resourced nervous system, and feel more anchored during difficult seasons.
Based in Roanoke, Virginia. I work with clients locally and virtually, and I’m here to support you wherever you are.
The Human Behind the Work
Welcome! My name is Melissa, and I also go by Mel. You can call me either, but please don’t call me “Melissa Ann” because I’ll think I’m in trouble.
Aside from my primary role as a Shih Tzu butler, I wear many hats, and there is a common thread running through them all: I am passionate about helping folks build more resourced and regulated nervous systems.
I have a background in psychology and contemplative traditions, over a decade of experience helping people navigate mental health struggles, as well as training in yoga and 5NP ear acupuncture. All of this allows me to offer a unique blend of care.
It was nonlinear path to get here, but I love what I do. And I would be honored for the opportunity to walk your path with you, and help you move the needle on feeling better.
